How reliable are public EV chargers in Finland? We took a snapshot of the live status of every public charge point every 15 minutes (first look, 2 hours of data) and counted how many the operators themselves report as out of order. On average 6.5% of the 19,714 charge points with a known status were out of order - 3.4% at DC fast-charging locations and 8.7% at AC-only locations. Among the 13 networks large enough to compare, Tesla reported the lowest share (0.2%) and Evenli the highest (16.5%).

Every 15 minutes we record the live status that operators publish for every public charge point in Finland (Fintraffic Digitraffic AFIR API, CC BY 4.0). Out-of-order rate = out of order / charge points with a known status, averaged over 9 snapshots (first look, 2 hours of data). Networks need at least 200 charge points with a known status to be ranked.
